Today (24/02/2017) the social department of the voluntary association OMNES and a group of kindergarden teachers met at the public library of Kilkis. The subject of the meet was : "Exchange of experiences that concern inclusion and education of children from third countries". The School Counselor for Preschool Education in Kilkis prefecture, Mrs. Maria Papadopoulou, the School Counselor of Special Education of the 7th Periphery for Special Education, Mrs. Marina Patsidou, the Responsible for Cherso SEP, Mrs. Panagiota Kalpakidou, the heads and teaching staff of kindergardens of Kilkis attended the meeting. At the meeting the members of the social department presented the program in detail, as well as the actions of the program, quantitative and qualitative data focusing on the education of the refugee children accommodated in apartments in Kilkis. The teachers were thrilled with the program's work. A discussion followed, in which specific targets were set, as well as future joint actions inside and outside of the schools were planned.
